Education 1989-1991 - took a post-graduate course at Armenian National Academy of Science 1982-1887 - studied and graduated from State Cinema Institute (VGIK), Moscow, the Department of Film criticism Professional experience: 2004-to present – Artistic Director of “GOLDEN APRICOT” Yerevan International Film Festival. 2008-to present – coordinator in Armenia of Cross-Border Cinema Culture (CBCC) - project within the Kyiv Initiative Regional Program of the Council of Europe 2002-2004 – co-editor-in-chief of Armenian-Russian be-monthly on-line magazine on cultural policy problems (see
