Massimo Dell´Utri was born in Rome, Italy, where he currently lives. Since November 2001 he has served as an Associate Professor in Theoretical Philosophy and Philosophy of Language in the Faculty of Languages and Foreign Literatures of the University of Sassari. Since February 2006 he has served in the same Faculty as a Full Professor.
His research has dealt with topics in epistemology, metaphysics and philosophy of language. He has devoted three books and many articles to analyses of realism and the concept of truth. His present research is focused on an evaluation of fallibilism, relativism, skepticism and common sense, and the bearing this evaluation could have on our notion of truth.
